Training-Workshop on Crafting Strategic Plans and Rollout of Planning Technologies for School Districts

In view of the current challenges and desired changes in the country’s education system, the Department of Education (DepEd) launched the Basic Education Development Plan (BEDP) 2030, thru DepEd Order No. 24, s. 2022, which serves as a strategic roadmap to improve the delivery and quality of basic education.

In the operationalization of the BEDP, each governance level in the agency shall formulate their respective basic education plans that should all lead towards the common goals and outcomes of the BEDP 2030. In the school level, it is expected for the current year to implement the School Improvement Plans (SIP) 2025-2028.

To support the implementation of the schools’ SIP’s, the SDO Sorsogon Province, thru the School Governance and Operations Division – Planning and Research Office, shall capacitate school district representatives on strategic planning, including the rollout of Planning technologies.
